Caulfield & Smeal has been in business since 1958 and has always concentrated on highest quality - from our beginnings in period furniture reproductions to more recently (last 20 years) in high quality commercial furniture. We are proud of the level of quality and service we provide to our customers.

QUALITY
Caulfield & Smeal will not reduce the quality of the product we make by using inferior materials or hardware. Nor will we use 5mm backs to our cabinets when 12mm should be used for stability and strength - so our products are strong and don't get sent back for repair. We stay competitive by only employing the most talented craftspeople and investing in efficient tooling, which cuts down production hours. You can be assured of a quality end product.

SERVICE
We recognise that our most valuable asset is our client, so customer service is paramount to our business. We will do what we say we will do. If we say it will be delivered on a day, it will be delivered on that day unless it is out of our control and even then we go in to bat for you. We understand you need to be kept informed of the job's progress, so we employ a full time project manager to ensure your jobs are managed properly. Customer Service is part of our culture.

MATERIALS
We love making furniture in wood veneer - in fact it has been reported that we are equal to Auckland's top veneer cabinet makers. We also manufacture in lacquered MDF, Melamine, Melteca and solid timber, using metal frames and high pressure laminates where required.

WARRANTY

Caulfield & Smeal are dedicated to providing the best possible product to our clients and we back this with the following warranty.

Inclusions

• Workmanship and hardware for 5 years with proof of purchase
• Materials are covered by the suppliers' warranties
• Labour and materials to rectify the fault

Exclusions

• Abuse or Misuse
• Water, heat and sunlight can have a damaging effect on most surfaces and materials as as such, damage from any of these sources are excluded
• Servicing or repair by other than a Caulfield & Smeal employee or assigned agent will void this warranty
• Pick up and delivery if required
• Work done out of normal business hours (8am to 5pm Mon to Fri excl Public Hols)
